Supposedly the FedEx folks “faked” delivering the package. The realtor said that FedEx claims they made a delivery attempt at 12:30 but she says she was in the office then and there was no attempt. Combined w/ the all-of-a-sudden “you have to get the paperwork I just got around to mailing you back to me NOW,” I think she probably fucked the whole thing up. So the people who made us wait through two mortgage payments while they dragged their feet had to pay the $800 after all.
And that, my lovelies, is called “karma.”
