I’m using that rust-color merino blend yarn to do a triangle-shaped head scarf. It really an exercise in increasing and so far it’s going quite well. I’m only increasing on the right side of the piece so I have a yarn counter on one of the needles. That needle is the one I add the increases to. When the counter is on the right-hand needle, I just knit.
I can see an improvement in the quality of the knitting too. I’ve also repaired a couple of incorrect stitches when I caught them so it looks fairly smooth, unlike Baby Z’s scarf that has some extra stitches here & there.
Now it’s just a matter of having the time and the light to do it.
