I learned a lot of new and fascinating things about my mother last week.
She uses phrases like “so not going to happen.” She’s met Al Jardine multiple times (w/ a photo to prove it). I found out that not only has she thought about writing a book but has given it a try. I learned about the jobs she’s had, friends she’s known and places she’s lived. Most shocking of all: she’s a regular reader/lurker of “So anyway…”.
My birth mother found me (thanks to Adoption.com’s reunion registry and the magic the is Google). More posts & details to come throughout the week. To quote my Lost Blogger subject from last week, this is a good thing.
