I’ve written half a book in ten days

Today at lunch, Hawk said to me, “Are you just about finished with this thing?”
I said, “I’m getting there. There’s not much left.”
He said, “This is just one book, right?”
I said, “Yes.”
He said, “At the rate you’re going, I thought maybe you were making a trilogy or something.”
