Feel free to share the group info on your own blog. I just made it private b/c I didn’t want oscar.com browsers jumping in b/c they liked the name or something. Here’s what I picked. Don’t ask about my “Best Picture.” I had a mental image of producers accepting an Oscar for best film & that was the title across the bottom. I picked some different choices at EW.com (like Jackie Earle Haley and Jennifer Hudson). My short film, short doc, etc. are 100% guesses. I usually know a little something about what to choose, based on subject or setting, but this year I got nuthin.

Speaking of Helen Mirren, that damn PBS needs to stop with the “Prime Suspect” reruns on Masterpiece Theater. The world grinds to a halt. Children are told to hush and go play. Husbands are ignored. And then at the height of the action, it cuts until next week! You teasing bastards! And then I think about it for a whole damn week and some among us will miss part of the Oscars just to catch the end of the 2004 series. Yes, I have them all Netflixed and I have Season 1 here right now but still. It’s maddening.
