When I saw this at Lynne’s today, it reminded me that I’d wanted to do it. I’ll try to give unexpected answers.
I also just found out this: ” I have yet another new book being published this month: “Your Movie Sucks,” reviews of movies I hated.” His I Hated Hated Hated This Movie is one of my fave non-fic books.

Blair Witch? Really? I was bored out of my mind and turned it off halfway through–pretty much when I’d resigned myself to the fact that the irritating one whose death I was actively rooting for would be last.
I just found that I had no information to go on–no reason to find the Blair Witch scary. I know some people argued that that’s precisely what made her scary, but I just wasn’t feeling it.
For me, I’d have to say Orca. Lifelong phobia of Killer Whales from that one. Seriously, I nearly had a panic attack watching Happy Feet with The Ladies last night.

It’s a polarizing movie. When I saw it in the theater, I was thoroughly frightened & took it home w/ me. Even Hawk had bad dreams (I know b/c I didn’t sleep). The woman beside me in the theater said very loudly at the end, “Well THAT sucked.” Meanwhile other people applauded.
For me, not many movies really scare me b/c they don’t work my imagination enough. TBWP forced me to use my imagination, which worked for me in terms of frightening effect. I’ve only seen it that one time and I don’t think seeing it at home would be as creepy. The scariest movie I saw at home may be The Ring.

Hi! great to know you kinda self-tagged
I’ve already put Rebecca on Netflix [unfortunately it's a "save" and not available yet], thanx!
I never saw TBWP but watched its “sequel” which also messed with your mind but at the same time was disjointed and confusing. Kinda like the first one? Not gonna find out, LoL!

I also enjoyed Twelve Monkeys. Can barely remember it now, but I know I liked it!

Yeah same here Paula. I remember Brad Pitt and thinking, “Damn. Boy can act!” I know that Hawk & I saw it on a date b/c we’re weird that way (our first date, other than the high school dance, was to see Se7en). And it was set in Philly. Otherwise…

“Rebecca” is great. It’s weird that it isn’t out on DVD yet. Anything that got a “Best Picture” Oscar should be on DVD.
I didn’t care for “12 Monkeys” but Brad impressed me a lot in “The Devil’s Own.”
You SHOULD see “Godfather 2″!
