Boing boing boing

Thanks to Erie Blogs, I found out that my case was mentioned on BoingBoing:
If you’re in Silicon Valley this week and want to have some legal-type fun, you could drop in on the Lenz v. Universal hearing (dress nice, behave yourself!) in which EFF will be arguing that Universal should be punished for sending a bogus copyright threat to a mom who posted a 29-second youtube of her adorable toddler dancing to Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.”
“Behave yourself” optional. “Respect the court” would be my wording but you can “misbehave” while doing that. Like people who wear t-shirts to political speeches but remain silent.
The original story is at Recording Industry vs The People. I subscribe to their feed and just hadn’t gotten to GReader yet today. I found out about these links via Erie Blogs.
I wondered where all the fresh comments on the video were coming from.
Oh and in case you were curious what’s going on with the case, that’s where we are.
ETA: P2Pnet has a piece up too. It’s the first I’ve commented on any of the news stories at the sites (comments here, well, yeah). I wanted to put out there that he does not dig Prince music any more. Holden’s big thing right now is Lightning McQueen. “Queen” is on his Pull-Ups and he loves the movie and the music from it. He’s also big on Wall-E right now. As for music, as far as Holden is concerned, it begins and ends with Chuck Berry — which is actually pretty accurate to my way of thinking.
