As dictated:
My name is Zoe. I’m five years old. I want a Tigger & Pooh set*, and the rolling puppy and I like the white puppy with the pink bows that knows my name. And I want a Little Einsteins rocket. And my little brother’s name is Holden. He wants the stomping dinosaur (he eats a marble) and he wants to share with me and Daddy and Mommy. Daddy’s not in the hospital anymore. He’s home with us. He has that thing and a little thing right here and he wants to sit in a chair. He’s feeling better. So Holden and Zoe love each other and that’s it. The end.
Already sent to Santa.
* this is not happening. Santa is out of room in his sack & she didn’t want this until she watched Pooh this morning.
Luckily Santa shopped early and used coupons and kept his eye out for good deals on things since September b/c the prices on the puppies have skyrocketed (that poodle is going for $100 from third party sellers at Amazon). Santa spent about $30, which is reasonable considering that’s for materials, elf labor and transport. Oh and as late as last night, instead of the Tigger & Pooh set, it was “baby doll,” which Santa had a $15 coupon for at Target plus a 10% off coupon and it came out to less than $25. The coupon is in the Target toy coupon book, which you can find right in the toy section.
Santa has found the best prices at Target and a few deals at TRU (like BOGO Polly Pocket a couple of weeks ago). I walked through the Wal-Mart toy section the other day & noticed that their toy prices have actually gone up since I last looked there. So to the people who think Wal-Mart is always cutting you a deal, they’re definitely not. Target’s every day prices are lower on toys and Target’s prices have remained constant since the beginning of the school year when Santa began comparison shopping; TRU and Wal-Mart’s prices are running about parallel, at least here. So when you weigh the Wal-Mart experience versus the “deals,” I think it’s not worth it.

Thanks for sharing the Santa Letter. I’m certain Zoe and Holden are on Santa’s “Nice- List” from what you have written about their behaviour when they’re Daddy was sick in the hospital!
I’m with ya on Target and the evil empire-Walmart thing ! That place just gives me a ‘bad’ feeling! I try to avoid shopping there. But, Target, is one of my favorites. My daughter-in-law shopped there for all the kids toys!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you save those letters. I did, and I love to show my older son his old letters. He laughs and comments, and we have a blast reminiscing.

Another fun site is emailSanta.com. Santa replies on-screen right away. He’ll even mention things when someone is sick in the hospital.

That is a good one. I think we did that site before.
