I took Zoe into Target on Saturday, as I may have blogged. She’s now crazy for these “Our Generation” horses. She’s half interested in the dolls as well. Better these than American Girl, price-wise, but I told her that Santa’s sleigh is probably pretty full of tumbling puppies and stomping dinosaurs. I’m waiting to see if her interest wanes. She hasn’t mention the Tigger & Pooh set lately but she did write an additional Santa letter mentioning these horses and “a dollie to ride on it.”
*sigh*

In my not-so-vast experience…there is something about horses and ponies for little girls?! Every girl I ‘ve ever known has gone through a “horse/pony” phase. It never leaves some of them and they end up owning the real thing! This may sound strange, but Tractor Supply in Erie had a nice selection of horse toys near the pet supplies when we were there last week. That store is located in such a goofy place, IMHO, at the end of the drive where the Cracker Barrel restaurant is behind the Ambassador Hotel right off I-90!?! anyway, Good Luck Zoe-I’m sure Santa heard your request ! : )

Sorry,I think I should have said toy-horses not horse toys !!! LOL. Though, they did have those things too. I picked up a horse-ball for Cricket as she is a ‘chewer’ and has yet to meet a toy she cannot chew up!

Jake liked Nylabones. They were one of the few things he couldn’t destroy immediately & he loved them.

PugPei digs the Nylabones, too. We have to replace them frequently because she just destroys them. But they keep her happy.
