All and sundry

Zoe’s favorite show these days is “The Messy House Show” a.k.a. “How Clean Is Your House?” which she can read off the screen now.
She likes to wear her special “Kim gloves” (Kim is the tall blonde) and talk in her English accent about the “duht” and in her Scottish accent about “It smells like poo! Ooh! It’s poo!” Then when we clean something, she puts her nose to it & says, “Ah, smell that, luv.” I encourage this.
They’re both into games these days:
Zoe plays Monopoly Disney Princess Edition and I got them a new Candyland yesterday. They play games at school and she’s good now about putting them away and playing properly. Holden just likes sorting money & castles and cards and such.
Harry and Minerva are doing well with their timeshare situation. It’s currently his shift on the kitty condo and hers on the windowsill. Here they are changing shifts:
He goes to the vet next Wednesday to be neutered. My god, he’s a pain in the ass. He’s forever on the counters, digging up plants, getting into our people food, etc. He’s cute though. He has too much personality, I think. He’s still smaller than Minerva but she tends to defer to him. You can almost see her thinking, “It’s not worth it.” They caught another mouse, Hawk said. He said they were “sharing it,” batting the lower half between them.
We had a school delay yesterday & the kids spent the morning playing and dancing:
Imagine them going in a circle to Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” It was beautiful. And I shot some video of it. The idea that I had to talk myself into shooting a one minute video of this beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime moment — b/c of the lovely music that was playing for them to dance to — makes me just furious. And incredibly sad. I have nothing more to say on that front.
BTW: Zoe’s pajamas feature the Hulk. I don’t think Marvel will say anything. After all, they sell these clothes & such at Target and Target would never, ever do business with someone who wouldn’t want customers enjoying the product. Would they?

I love that show.
You have a few mini-yous on your hands. Z looks JUSt like you and H like Hawk.

I love the cleaning picture. If she has any grand desire to further her cleaning experiences there is a house in Erie that desperately needs some attention. The owner would be more than happy to supply her with all the Marvel superhero jammies and games her little heart desires.

You know, after your debacle with Prince, I deleted all my Prince tunes I had on iTunes. Most were from CDs. (I had like 5 songs.) I am not really into his music, and now never will be.
He’s what I call jagoff.
But I love your photos. It makes me want kids.

Those gloves are from Target’s $1 section a few years ago. I love them. They’re my cleaning gloves.
We had to watched the DVRed HCIYH this evening.

I love that top picture of her! And it’s so cool they play together so nicely! My brother and I never managed that. Hell, we’re in our thirties and we don’t even TALK. They are too cute!
